Simba SC
forward Nicholas Gyan has fired a salvo at Asante Kotoko ahead their
international friendly clash.
The
Tanzanian champions have invited the Ghana Premier League side to engage them
in an international friendly as the club celebrates its annual Simba Day
anniversary on August 8th, 2018 in Tanzania.
According to
Gyan, who left Ghanaian side Ebusua Dwarfs to join the Simba in 2017,
reiterated his delight at facing the Kumasi-based side again but says they are
poised to come out of the game victorious.
"Am
happy to meet Kotoko for the first time after leaving Ghana for Tanzania. They
are a good side but we will beat them, he told Kyfilla.com
The highly
anticipated encounter is scheduled to come off on Wednesday, August 8, at the
Uhuru Stadium in Dar es salaam.
